Why Cavetta Exists

We started Cavetta on the Gold Coast in 2023 with one non-negotiable.

Every ring would be made from 100% solid Australian gold.

No hollow cores. No plating. No compromises on the material, regardless of what it costs to maintain that standard.

It wasn't a gap in the market that led to that decision.

It was a frustration with what the market was. 

Spending real money on rings that looked like gold, photographed like gold, and degraded like something that wasn't. 

Hollow shells. Plated base metal. Products built for the first impression and the return window not for the next thirty years.

A Cavetta ring is made to outlast almost everything else you'll ever own. 

The gold is certified Australian, and every ring is crafted one by one.

These aren't brand values written for a pitch deck.

This is what makes Cavetta special.

  • Origin matters.

    Australian mined gold has one of the most transparent and ethical supply chains in the world.

    We use it because we can tell you where it came from.

    We think that matters for the person wearing the ring and for the integrity of what the ring represents.

  • Transparency is key.

    Most jewellery brands don't tell you what their rings are made of because the answer would raise questions.

    Cavetta tells you everything - carat, origin, construction method, what 'solid' means and what it doesn't.

    If you're looking for a ring to last a lifetime, you deserve a complete answer.

  • The material is the message.

    A ring made of hollow gold and a ring made of solid gold look identical in a photograph.

    The difference lives in the physics: one degrades, one doesn't. We chose the one that doesn't.

    Every other decision follows from that.

  • Craft before scale.

    There is a version of Cavetta that takes ten times the orders and outsources production.

    That version makes more money and produces a worse ring.

    We've deliberately chosen not to build it.

The gold ring market has a problem.

Walk into any jeweller, browse any marketplace, scroll any ad and almost everything calling itself a "gold ring" is hollow, plated, or made from base metal with a surface treatment that wears through in two years.

The industry found a way to make things look like gold without making them from gold.

Cavetta was built on a single refusal: to make anything that isn't exactly what it claims to be.

Every ring we sell is 100% solid gold - the same certified Australian gold from the outer surface to the inner bore.

Because it's the only way to make something that genuinely lasts.

Thats why our mission is to create substantial, heirloom worthy gold rings that hold real value and stand the test of time.
