Why Cavetta Exists

Cavetta was created to bring back a tradition the world quietly lost.

The tradition of passing down rings that mean something.

For generations, a gold ring wasn't an accessory. It was a record. It carried a family's name, its story, its weight.

Literally from one hand to the next.

Somewhere along the way, the industry traded that for volume. Rings became products. Products became disposable.

We started Cavetta to make rings the way they were made when rings were meant to outlive their owner.

Every Cavetta ring is commissioned one at a time, crafted completely bespoke for the person it belongs to, with one purpose built into it from the first inception.

That one day, it will be passed down.

A ring should carry more than gold.

It should carry heritage. Legacy. Memories. Stories.

That's why we craft coat of arms signet rings that put a family's history on a family's hand. Wedding bands made for one marriage, not a production run. Commissions built around a stone, a symbol, or a story that belongs to one person only.

No two Cavetta rings are the same, because no two owners are.

Each piece is designed for its owner and for whoever comes after them.

Made the old way. Heavy on purpose.

Pick up a Cavetta ring and the first thing you notice is the weight.

That's not an accident. That's the entire philosophy in your hand.

We build our rings the way they were made in the era before cost cutting, when jewellers didn't skimp on the gold, and the proportions ran thick from the face of the ring all the way through to the back of the band. Not just the surfaces you see when it's worn. All of it.

We never make hollow backed rings. We never make plated rings. Ever.

A hollow ring and a solid ring look identical in a photograph. The difference lives in the decades, one dents, wears through and gets replaced. The other gets engraved, resized, and handed to a son or daughter.

Our rings are genuinely made to last forever, because forever is the job we built them for.

Honest materials. Transparent origins.

An heirloom should have nothing to hide.

Every Cavetta ring is made from 100% solid, certified Australian gold.

The same gold from the outer surface to the inner bore, with an origin we can trace and tell you about.

Our natural sapphires are mined within Australia by small family mining operations, stones pulled from Australian ground by people whose own craft has been passed down through generations.

We chose these materials because they match what the ring is for.

If a piece is going to carry your family's story, the materials inside it should have an honest story of their own.

Built to be here when your ring changes hands.

Cavetta isn't built to be a fast brand. It's built to be a 100 year business.

A business that will still be here in decades to come, when the ring we made for you becomes the ring your family inherits.

That's the standard behind every decision we make, the materials we refuse to compromise on, the proportions we refuse to thin out, and the one at a time way we insist on working.

We're not making rings for this season.

We're making the rings your family will hold close to them for more than fifty years down the road.

Commission a ring made for one owner, and every owner after them.

What We Actually Believe.

These aren't brand values written for a pitch deck.

This is what makes Cavetta special.

  • Origin matters.

Australian mined gold has one of the most transparent and ethical supply chains in the world.

We use it because we can tell you where it came from.

We think that matters for the person wearing the ring and for the integrity of what the ring represents.

  • Transparency is key.

Most jewellery brands don't tell you what their rings are made of because the answer would raise questions.

Cavetta tells you everything - carat, origin, construction method, what 'solid' means and what it doesn't.

If you're looking for a ring to last a lifetime, you deserve a complete answer.

  • The material is the message.

A ring made of hollow gold and a ring made of solid gold look identical in a photograph.

The difference lives in the physics: one degrades, one doesn't. We chose the one that doesn't.

Every other decision follows from that.

  • Craft before scale.

There is a version of Cavetta that takes ten times the orders and outsources production.

That version makes more money and produces a worse ring.

We've deliberately chosen not to build it.
